by blon, Jun 21, 2005 12:00AM
I am 41 years old and taking premarin, am a week late but my husband had a vasectomy 3 years ago.  Could i be pregnant, and if I am...will taking premarin be harmful to the fetus?  Also...i have no energy...my nipples are a little dark with some discharge from them and I have had some bad headaches the last couple of days. My last period was  34 days ago.

Call your pharmiscist about your medication he will let you know if it could be harmful to a fetus if you are pregnant. The other your husband having a v well sometimes nature has a way of rerouting itself a good friend of my mothers had a surprize that way when they thought they were in the clear a year later out came #4 for them but I would get a hpt to be sure or go for a dov whatever is in your means.

Why are you on Premarin at such an young age?

by blon, Jun 22, 2005 12:00AM
Thank you both for your answers.  My doctor put me on premarin because I was having hot flashes and would be in a store and feel like I was going to pass out.  I do alot better now, but I occasionally do still experience some symtoms.  Lately at night though....I have been feeling so hot, especially in my face..that it's almost suffocating, and my husband will tell me it's not hot.  Usually he is the one who is complaining of being hot...when I am cold.  Thank you!!  I plan to at least take a test and if I'm not pregnant....then I will take the test to see if it could possibly be that time in my life.  My sister went through the change around the age of 43 or 44, and I'm fixing to be 42.
