pregnancy after mirena

i had the mirena out 2nd March, trying to get pregnant, i had it put in for heavy  and irregular periods, since it came out i have had a period that lasted for 3 days and then nothing, which is very unlike me, normally if iam not on any form of birth control then i just bleed all the time. since the mirena came out i have not taken any birth control and had unprotected sex several time, but there is no period, could i be pregnant? is amy one else going through some thing similiar. thanks for any answers..

i also had the mirena for about 3 years.  i had it removed had some spotting a few days later and then my reg period didnt come til about 46 days after removal.  it took me 8 months to conceive, everyones different this was just my experience. good luck

I have the mirena and I chose it because it doesn't affect fertility. Theoretically, you can get pregnant after it's taken out, but everyone is different. I'd definitely take a test if I were in your shoes. Hope all goes well, good luck! =D
