pregnant & VERY CONCERNED.....Please HELP!

Im a 29 yr old female. I had chronic pancreantitus a few year ago, was hospitalized & almost passed. i feel like my health is almost back to normal but i got a surprise when i found out i am pregnant again. I already had a 3 1/2 little girl thats overjoyed her mommy's back. Ive come along way, im scared. i was in the hospital for 5months. my entire body shut down. i originally went in with pancreantitus which lead to kidney & respitory failure. even though now i dont feel symptoms of the illness, i know i still have it. can i have a healthy pregnancy?

I would talk to my doctor. I am not sure that the two go hand in hand but I see no reason to take chances.

Oh wow! I'm sorry you've had to go through all of that! I don't really have an answer for you, though. This might be something you should ask your obgyn about. Or maybe post on one of the "ask a doctor" forums.

Good luck to you!
