pregnant, dark brown discharge, please respond

i just posted another ? today but no one's replyed yet, i have no pain and had some very dark brown discharge come out. well i just went pee and when i was done i wiped and it was the same color, squezzed a little and more very liquidy dark brown stuff came right out into the toilet wiped and it was gone , i'm going to the doctor tomorrow and actually as i'm typing this i'm getting a pain in my side lower rib area don't know if its related. please someone read both of my questions and help ease my nerves or keep it real with me. thank you

If you are worried and you think you are pregnant You need to stay off you feet and keep them up. Until you see the doctor just to be safe. Thats what they always tell me

i go to the doctor tomorrow pretty much just a pee test for insurance purposes, speeking of peeing i just went i was scared as to what i would find but everything was normal, i cant stop checking myself every 5 seconds though, ive been so busy and doing so much stuff maybe, hopefully, this is just a warning to SLOW DOWN

I had a m/c with my very first pregnancy and it started out with similar discharge and then nothing for hours and then some more and then the next morning it was really heavy and I had to have a d&c (dilation and curettage) to remove the remains of the pregnancy. I am not saying that yours will end the same but brown or bright red discharge isn't a good sign particularly if there is any pain associated with it, i'm to believe. I'm so sorry that you have to experience this the first time around like me and so many other women. If it is bad news please know that you are not alone.

But if it does make you feel any better I went on to have 3 consecutive healthy pregnancies and babies without miscarrying in between any of them!!! I am now pregnant with my 4th baby (5th pregnancy) and let me tell you, I worry the same as I did when I was pregnant the second time round after I miscarried.  It taints every pregnancy thereafter, but it doesn't mean that you won't have another baby...it only means the due date will change. Thinking of you and hope that things turn out for the best.

Have you experienced any red or pink spotting.  It sounds like its just old blood.  I experienced the same thing early on in my pregnancy, and it was just old blood.  And to me..old blood is better than new blood! Find out for sure though!

This is not really a comment but a help me.I last got my period July 2 and lasted like always 6 days. July 29 I started with a brown discharge no smell or itch. Lasted 4 days. I was to get my peroid on Aug. 2 it never came. On Aug. 8 had a blood test to see if I was pregnant came out neg. I had other one done on Aug, 17. still neg. I have gain 10bls. but have not changed eating habits and last sat. started getting sick after eating. I am merried and we use the old pull out trick. I have a 4 year old. Never had this happen to me before. It is Sept 1 and do to go to the doctors by the 8 if I don't get my peroid. I have no other pains or anything like being pregnent or signs of getting my period. I'm not wishing or trying. So what could be wrong with me? Has this happened to anyone esle?

I had a normal period on july 5, next one was due, aug. 3, arrived one week earlier, it was very light pink and 3days....(i am always 7). I did not get another period in August, then on Sept. 3 had sex, and on sept.4 had light to dark brown discharge.....poking pain on right side everynow and again, but nothing else.....took ept tests 3 times, all negative, i go to planned parenthood on friday morning, hopefully they will tell me all is okay....i have searched the internet until i am blind, looking for answers, but i only get more confused than i was when i sat down...guess i will find out soon enough....good luck to you.....

I'm 8 weeks and I had dark blood 3 days ago after a day of alot of stress I though for sure I was having a mc... so I went to the hosp. and they took my blood and told me to follow up with my dr. to see if my levels were still going up so I made the appt.and they said I was good and that my levels were in fact still going up and were very high so...They told me I can go back to work but I still have a really bad feeling that something is wrong. Has anyone had this happen to them? Also I had a mc last time to.

i had my last period early june 08 it is now early september 08 i have not had my period since! i had been taking birthcontrol and stopped in december 07,i am now getting a dark dark brown discharge that started out light but one day i noticed it had stained my pants so i proceeded to wear a pantyliner that night i woke up and went to the bathroom and the pantyliner was covered in an almost tar colored disharge. the next mornig while urinating a clot of it fell out, i wiped and the tissue was covered in this foul smelling thick tar colored discharge! i have never experienced this before can anyone relate?

I am twenty years old and I have been with my boyfriend for a very long time now. I have been on birth control for a very long time as well, but we do have unprotected sex and he pulls out. Today I went to the bathroom and had very dark brown discharge, a lot! I am really worried. My period is suppose to start in two days. Can someone help me? Please!

If you are on birth control pills and are taking them regularly, then by "unprotected sex" do you mean without a second method, like condoms or spermicide? If you are on bc then you should be fine, I used pills only and never got pregnant. It takes seven to ten days after sex for the fertilized egg to implant, which usually results in light pink/red bleeding if any. Take a test in the morning with your first morning pee. good luck!

In my first pregnancy, I had a ton of bleeding- bright red blood. It was what drs. call a "subchorionoch hemmorage." I passed clots the size of my fist- it was terrifying- but I delivered a perfectly healthy 9 pound baby boy- so blood doesn't ALWAYS mean miscarriage, but it isn't a good sign either. Best to see your doctor right away.
