pregnant with endrometrosis

I just found out that I am pregnant.  I have endrometrosis and I have been told that my pregnancy is called a high risk pregnancy.  I have been told by friends and family that I stand a good chance of loosing the baby because of the endrometrosis.  Has anyone lost a baby because of it or had good luck keeping one that has endrometrosis?

I have a question.  Recently I have been having some wierd things that got me thinking.  I have mild endometriosis and last Saturday (3/1) I had a small spot of bleeding.  That was it nothing else, but some cervical fluid afterwards.  I am not due for my period until Monday 3/10 (couple of days).  Usually by now I have abdominal pain (before my period).  I don't hardly have anything, but little twinges.  Someone mentioned that I could be pregnant.  Does endometriosis symptoms ease up this early if you are pregnant?  If anyone can tell me something that would be great, I am sooooo impatient.  I have an OB appointment on Monday, that is how impatient I am :)
Thanks for any help!

To add to what pmsobx said, you may very well not have symptoms while you are pregnant so don't stress. You doctor will tell you if you have anything to worry about. With the technology we have in this day and age, 9 out of 10 people have what they call a high risk pregnancy. So relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Congrats!

One more thing!   Take this good advice from me!  Don't listen to what your mother, aunt, sisters or friends tell you!!!  When I was pregnant with the first child, people had me horrified!!!!!  Everyone thinks they know everything but they don't.  Like endometriosis for instance.  It is harder to conceive when you have endometriosis but the symptoms pretty much go away when your pregnant.   And a large percentage of the population have it and don't know it.  So if you have any questions, ask your doctor or look it up on the internet.  I know your friends and family are trying to help, but again they give there "opinion" because they lack the knowledge.  Congratulations and Good Luck!!

Your endometriosis shouldn't cause you that much pain during pregnancy. Since you are not ovulating, no lining grows and there is nothing to be shed, so you may even be symptoms free during pregnancy.  I also have endometriosis and  I had 2 kids while in my 30's and never had any trouble!  You'll be fine.
