You can only conceive when you ovulate, which happens mid cycle, NOT right before your period. You need at least 10 days AFTER ovulation for your period to start so conceiving just before your period is not possible. Of course, some women ovulate late, which then cause your period to be late, or not show at all if you conceived during that time.
Like I said before, wait another week and see if your period shows then, and if not then test again with FMU. But like I said, it's going to be either (most likely) you're not pregnant at all, or if you are, you ovulated late and conceived late. You need to wait 2-3 weeks after intercourse to be able to test.
hopingforthebest19 - whether you have insurance or not, you will still a blood test to confirm being pregnant if you eventually did get a positive test. This has to be done regularly at the begining of pregnancy to measure hCG hormones to make sure they are rising and that the pregnancy is viable.
let me know what happened
You're lateness has nothing to do with whether or not you're going to get a negative or positive result. It all depends on when you conceived. Since you can technically conceive at anytime, you may have conceived right before you're period, making it too soon for the hcg hormones to be detected. I personally don't have health insurance so I can't go get blood work. It's a waiting game for me.
Since you're so late, and still getting negative results, chances are you're not pregnant and something else is delaying your period. I would wait another week, and if still no period then re test using first morning urine (it's most accurate) and see what it says. If that's still negative then maybe go see your doctor for blood work etc.
i dont know if i should wait till this weekend to take a other one or what i should do
