prenatal vits

Hi ladies.
I just wanted to know what prenatal vitamins u all were taking before getting pregrant. There are so many different brands out there and i just wanted some feedback. Thanks

ya know what.......i'm soorrry i was incorrect that's what i take is the primacare, and they are big and purple and my insurance doesn't cover them either!!!!! so i pay around $30 for them, and also $30 for my iron every month! it's soooooooo expensive!

You can pretty much take any "reliable" brand of prenatal. By reliable I mean some recognised brand. The biggest thing is making sure you get enough folic acid.

Mine are called PrimaCare, they are big purple coated pills, which is great because the smell of vitamins nauseates me and so does the taste!

Only problem is for some reason my insurance wouldnt cover the presciption so they cost 30 bucks!

Oh well, i only need to but them 3 times :)

I also take the prenatal plus and they are huge and purple but they are great, don't make me sick or anything...
i started out on the otc from walmart but the dr didn't want me taking them...

My Dr. prescribed me Prenatal Plus. They are huge but have never made me sick. I took them with all of my pregnancies.
