problems with my period HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been having problems with my periods for the last 8 months, only having one and that was Aug 19 2006. For the last couple of weeks I've had a lot of pressure in my vagina, it feels like i  have to pee all the time and like something going to fall out, I don't think i have a bladder infection and i know i'm not pregnant and i'm only 27. I starting to freak out thinking that it's something bad, but i have no insurance and i have called a couple of doctors but they want a least 200.oo for the first visit and i can afford that. What could it be? I've had other problems too, like when my periods started acting up I noticed that my hair started turning grey like crazy and gaining a lot of weight. I've had my thyroid checked and it was normal.

could be a cyst..  I would check it out it could be growing and pushing on your bladder, When you have cysts your periods can be all over the place as well.

Get tested ASAP for PCOS, or polycystic ovary syndrome. A blood test and an ultrasound could help you out sooo much, please don't wait, the problems can only get worse. Look up PCOS on the web, I am sure you will see that is what you have. Good Luck! {Candace from Michigan}
