If you have been bleeding since May 9, if it were me I would call the doctor.  It might be a delayed reaction to getting off the pill, or there might be some other problem like hyperplasia, or something totally unrelated (i.e. it might not be period blood but just blood).  So it probably would be a good idea to get checked.

It can take months to get your system back to normal after stopping birth control pills.  However, this could be just the opposite with some women.  There are those women who get pregnant the very next month or so.  That is rare in my experiences though.  If you say you haven't had a period since February, I think it's time to go to the doctor just for a check up.  Depending on your age, you may want to start looking into the most mild fertility "plans." I don't mean the expensive things.  I'm talking about taking your temperature in the morning...ex: there are only a few days a month a woman can conceive. If you begin to take your temperature every morning, and record it, and you begin to see a graph that looks like 98.4, or 98.5, or suddenly it goes to 98.0.  It is THEN that you begin to have sex.  And have sex for 3 days...you should see your temperature go back up to 98.6 or .4...any type of rise from the lowest point is also a time you could conceive.  Many women think they can get pregnant any day of the month.  Not true.  Try the temperature thing. It's very inexpensive. Oh, after sex, lie on your back with your legs in the air for 20 minutes (yes, it's not attractive) however it will aid in conceiving.
