Hi there.  Well, our cycles don't follow a calendar but go by number of days.  So, the average cycle is around 28 days.  Some cycles are a few days less than that.  Months have generally 30 or 31 days. So, depending on the timing, you can have a cycle on the very beginning of the month/period is day one of your cycle.  Then you have a normal cycle length and another cycle will start with another period before the end of the month.  Then it appears you had two periods in a month but is just your regular cycle length and the way it timed out.  Your cycle can be as short as 21 days and be normal.

Does that answer your question?
