red bump

recently i discovered a small pimple-like bump on the outside of my vagina. first off, i've never been sexually active. so i thought nothing of it and figured it was just a pimple or something. i figured it went away but this morning in the shower i found it had grown to the size of a small pea. it is not hard, but its not that soft either. i don't shave or wax so its not an ingrown hair. well, i guess i could be.. but i've definitely never seen an ingrown hair bump so big. it's not ichy or painful. and i'm not on my period.. help?
