I am just wondering why i have littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys red blood dots on my skin.. The are called petechiae. I was sick in the past.. they are on my arms.. a few on my legs and chest .. i went for a massage today and now i have one on the side of my noseNose fracture... y do i keep getting them?
Did your Dr. tell you thats what they were? I looked them up and it says that you need to get in to see your Dr. within a day or two from getting one. It has somehting to do with your platlets being low.
I have these red pin like blood dots on my skin also. I assumed they were something called angiomas. I got some of them 4 years ago when I was pregnant.
I looked at some pictures of them and they seem to look the same as what you have. So now I'm not sure which I have. I think I might show them to my Dr. when I go in on Monday. I noticed this morning in the shower that I got 2 new ones on my legs.
Now if it is indeed angiomas, then they are harmless and are just due to aging. Some people get them and some don't. I think a dermatologist can remove them pretty easy.
But if you think/know that they are petechiae and a Dr. hasn't looked at them, then I would say you should get in and get them checked out.
