Hi, this is a question I know many people ask but I would like some ladys who have exsperience in this catagory... so here it goes. If my period started on 10/15 and ended yesterday, and my boyfriend and I had intercoarse this morning and he **** inside of me, what are the odds of me conceiveing? Slim to none? I've heard that you are most ferile about 2 weeks before your period, true? I'm not going to beat around the bush, I'm trying to have a baby, could somebody please help me find my most fertile day?
Hi, well, anytime you have unprotected sex, there is a risk of pregnancy.
There are many many books on conceiving at the library. A whole section on it.
Basically, day one of your period is cycle day one. From that day you begin counting. Most women ovulate on cycle day 14 on average. An egg is there to be fertilized for 24 to 48 hours at that time and THAT is when you can get pregnant.
Sorry, I hit post before I finished. (I need coffee, lol).
My doctor recommends for women trying to have a baby to begin having sex on day 10 of your cycle and continue to do so every other day for 10 days. The every other is important for sperm count so don't do it every day. That will often be enough to catch an egg.
Doubtful you were ovulating when you just had intercourse.
Let me tell you that having a baby is a huge step. It complicates all facets to life from your romantic relationship (babies are hard on some relationships), financial status (they are super expensive), to your 'own' self (they take all your time basically). They are wonderful, don't get me wrong. But they change EVERYTHING. good luck
