severe pain with novasure
i had severe pain during my procedure. it was only 90 seconds but i wanted to die. i cried screamed and begged them to stop. has this happened to anyone else?
I too had severe pain. It was horrible!!! I almost passed out! They had to put cold towels on me and give me something cold to drink. It was worse than labor. The newest Novasure is not supposed to hurt like that. I guess everyone is different. The girl before me walked out like nothing ever happened.
I had general anesthesia for mine, so I can't help you. I hear that some doctors do them in the office, but I can hardly imagine not having adequate anesthesia during it.
I can certainly believe it must be very painful. When you go for your follow up appt, be sure to tell the doctor how awful you felt it was for you, and encourage him to explain to patients beforehand how it might feel, so they can decide if they want general anesthesia for it in the hospital or surgi-center.
