if you took 14 consecutive pills at the same time every day, you should be fine. what you did was somewhat risky, but just keep taking your pills until the active ones are all gone.
I had unprotected sex the first second and third week of my first month of birth control pills and I didnt get pregnant, so you should be okay.
I think the only risk of pregnancy here was if you happened to ovulate in the first few days before you started taking your pills or in the first week of your pills. but like I said, you took 14 in a row --just make sure you keep taking them. finish off your month, have a period and start your next pack on time, which will be exactly 7 days after this month's active pills are done, or after you take all 7 placebo pills, continue on with the next month. good luck!

to be perfectly sure the b/c is working you should wait about three months.

Yes, you are right. You needed to start sooner and to use protection for at least the first three weeks, and for 7 days after any missed pills. You could be pregnant, but don't stress out too much. Remember too, that birth control, depending on how fast it works for you, may make your period late or non exsistent as soon as the first month. If this is the case, and you do not get your period after the first few days of the placebo pills (the last week) then take a HPT just in case. Good Luck.
