shaving down there

I'm a little embrassed about this I'm 17 and I have tried to shave down there but I can't get it, I have talk with my mom about it and she says I just need a mirror but im worried about hitting something and i tried to shave lavering it up with soap...
are.tthere any special tips I need to know help!!!

LOL, sorry to laugh, but I'm 45 and have been doing this for as long as I can recall.  The trick to doing this is to pull the loose skin tight as you shave, and to never put the razor insideyour labia majora (hair doesn't grow there anyway)I do this in the shower with one leg up on the side of the tub, and I use touch to find the places with hair.  Another trick: insert your left forefinger BETWEEN your inner and outer lips, and pull our push toward center, so you can shave the majora to each side.  And, you might need a mirror the first few tries: CAREFUL: a shave-nip down there is PAINFUL.
