shaving....

Just wondering what the best way to get rid of the unwanted hair "down there" is.  Shaving just seems to leave little bumps....

I also wanted to add that the Venus Spa Breeze is great for shaving down there and anywhere else. The blades are surrounded by moisturizing strips and you don't have to use shaving cream. I lather up with soap before I shave though, just so it's less rough.

I get those bumps too and I asked the dr. about it and he said that it was ingrown hairs and told me it's not good to shave down there. I still do it though, but not as often as I used too. I usually take hair clippers and buzz it off without the guard. That way there is hardly any hair down there, but I don't get the bumps. Not as nice as clean shaven, but oh well. lol

I'd recommend not shaving for a while, letting them go away, and trying again.

To be honest, I don't shave all year round, only in the summer when I'm going to be wearing bathing suits.  The rest of the year I just keep it trimmed and neat for my boyfriend.

this might sound alittle odd but if you have an extra deorderant laying around you can use that and there will be no bumps. im not saying to put it in you but just on the outside where you shave. i started doing that and i havent hav any bumbs at all. just make sure you save that one as just for that area you dont want to go and mix them up.

i have problem with the little bumps too. D:

i was using an old razor for a long time, which never did the job well anyway
and then i got some new razors in a little pack, and those worked much better.

so now that i have a better razor,
how do i get rid of the little bumps?
cause like if i was to try and shave over them and stuff they just start bleeding.

I use new razors and shave with the grain and with a moisturizer... don't know - i've always had this problem down there - could it be that I am just sensitive to it?

I'm not sure if you shave against the grain of your hair.  If so I would no longer, that will leave bumps and start irritaion.  Unfortunately I always have a bit of a 5'oclock shadow but never any irritation.  Hope this helps.

Do you use any sort of moisturizer or soap?  I always make sure I use a brand new razor when I shave down there, and at least a little shampoo or body wash to moisturize.  I've never had problems with bumps unless the razor was old.
