I am 56 years old & do not have anny health problems. For the past 1 month I am having pain in my left arm below the shoulder. I am not able to swing my left arm backwards or touch my back. I am regularly taking calcium tablets. Pain relieving tablet is not helping me.

Hi, I have the same trouble. It is worse when I am laying down sleeping and not using it at all. My neurosurgeon wants me to see an orthopedic doctor. I have no idea why and have not been referred to one yet. I cannot lift it up straight or put it behind as if to scratch my back etc. When I first wake up it is so sore I scream "ow" when I try to move it. What has your Dr. told you. Tks. Linda
