sickness and cramps

Okay since yesterday and today ive been feeling ill. Feel very nauseous and a slight headache. Ive been sick for a bit with a cold so I produce a lot of mucus. So I thought I was nauseous do to too much mucus in my stomach, if is the case then usually eating would help or if I end up throwing up, that would cure it. But it didnt. I ate and ended up throwing up twice and still felt ill all day. But ive been having cramps on my left aide. I googled it and a lot came up with pregancy. So here is my information about my menstrual cycle.
Last time I have sex (unprotected, but on birth control) its was 2-4 days before I started my period. It was completely normal period. It ended on sunday but I have been have painful cramps on my left side, around my ovary area, which is new. Its been happening for 2 days, along with my sickness.

Can you tell me what you think of all this means?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
If you have had your periods after intercourse then chances of pregnancy are less. It looks like viral infection and sinusitis and post nasal drip. Post-nasal drip (PND) occurs when excessive mucus is produced by the sinuses.

For ruling it out an ENT examination along with transillumination test of sinuses or x-ray sinuses should be done. Till you get these investigations done, inhale plenty of steam or use a humidifier, eat small nutritious meals at frequent intervals instead of a heavy single meal. Exercise frequently and take your dinner atleast 2 hrs prior to bedtime. Also raise the head end of the bed by 2 blocks.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
