Hello,
First of all you should get it checked from a gynecologist whether it is genital warts or skin tags that you are having. Warts are small painless growth on skin caused by Human Papilloma Virus. These can be light or dark. They are usually oval in growth and raised forming rough surface in the skin.
Warts need to be evaluated before delivery as the virus can be passed on to the newborn.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
In other words, sweetheart, you have a bigger issue than if the midwife might say anything. You could give your baby an issue that has no cure.
If it is genital warts, you had darn well, absolutely, certainly, better tell your doctor, before you spread it to the baby when giving birth. Get over your embarrassment like tomorrow, and call the doctor and say what is going on. Genital warts are called "highly contagious" in everything I've read. Please get on this right away. If you happen to go into labor before you've seen your doctor, TELL THE ATTENDING DOCTOR what is going on.
