small white tag below vaginal opening

Hi there. I have recently noticed that I have a small, white skin tag like growth underneath the opening of my vagina. There is only one and the skin around it seems to be normal. It does not itch burn or sting in any way. It is also soft. I'm not sure what it is, but is there any chance it could be due to friction during sex, as I've noticed I feel tighter during sex. Please help as I am really worried! Its a strange little thing, almost like a tiny white flap (imagine a pin worm). There is no redness around it. As far as I can see it doesn't look like HPV, but I know I can't rule anything out. I can't do anything about it at the moment due to exams at university, but I'm planning on going to the doctors as soon as I can get there. It would be nice if anybody had any ideas before then though? thank you x x x

Hi, I'fve been experiencing these same sort of skin tags on my vagina. I noticed a few weeks ago and the number of skin tags has gone up. I have not had a baby, but I was pregnant a few months ago. Also, I have switched birth controls recently. Somebody please help!

Hi, I was reading thru the comments to your original question, and I was just wondering if you got any feedback from the doctor.  I recently have experienced the same thing, and I freaked out because I thought it was HPV, but that is almost impossible because I have had the Gardasil Vaccination.  I have found few things on the internet and just wanted to know if you had any more info. Thanks!

Hi!  Recently i had an hpv scare but the test results showed i didnt have it! But i have these unsual looking warts or skin tags on the outer portion of my vagina. They resemble tiny fingers! Do yours look like tiny fingers? Have you heard on any home remdies to remove these? I have tried the vinegar and the garlic routine for this problem but i have no luck yet!

Have you ever been torn there during sex???  I know that after my baby that skin down there was really tender & from time to time it would tear.  I can't think of anything else - I  think you're probably fine.  Everybody's different - as long as it's not hurting or anything I would just wait until my next doctor appt.

No I haven't, but after I came off the pill a little while ago I had symptoms like that of a woman after pregnancy. i suffered from hairloss for 6 months. the doctor said this was hormonal, as after pregnancy...maybe they're related

Have you ever had a baby is a good question. I have the exact thing, but had it after my second baby. My doctor just said it's a growth just like that of a mole....you really should have it checked though.
