my belly button hurts when i lean forward and it has blood coming from it, what could be causing this?
go to the doctor!! I accidentdly punctured my belly button with a Qtip and it got infected and very sore. I had to have it cleaned out everyday with betadine and was on anibotic for 4wks. It can be very serious. I was in pain with mine.

sounds like you have a bacteria/ fungal infection going on. Moisture and dirt that get trapped in the belly button, can cause this. clean it a couple times a day with hydrogen peroxide and a light coating of triple antibiotic ointment. and if it doesnt start improving, go to the Dr. keep it clean and after getting out of the shower just dry your belly button thoroughly with a hair dryer on low cool setting. then apply the ointment. Again, go to the Dr. if there is no improvement or it worsens. Sounds like you should go to Dr either way.
