spotting - PLEASE help - NOT pregnant

let me start out by saying that i am NOT pregnant. [have to have sex to be pregnant]

i have been spotting the past three days now. i only see it on my toilet tissue, not on my underwear, etc - and it isnt a lot. i put a tampon in for an hour just to see if maybe my period is coming [supposed to be here in 6 days] and when i pulled it out, there was little blood, not much.

this happens mostly after i push during a bowel movement. any ideas? [cant be seen for another two weeks]

Ugh, well.  Even if the spotting stops---  KEEP that appointment and tell them about it.  Hopefully they'll do some blood work and be able to determine why it is happening, offer you some tweeks to fix it and you'll be good to go.  :>)  good luck and let me know, okay?

Hi there.  If I remember correctly, this has happened before, right?  I think at that time we talked about a possible hormonal imbalance of producing too much progesterone.  (this is a common source of midcycle spotting/bleeding).  Have you had a pelvic exam/pap smear any tie recently?
