spotting after relations

Good Morning.  I am on Ortho Tri Cyclen bc.  I normally have a pretty regular cycle.  I had my normal period start on Wednesday and last through Saturday.  Totally normal, but then Saturday night I had sex with my long term boyfriend and I noticed about 20 minutes after I had some light red spotting only when I went to the bathroom.  Last night it seemed to have left, but then we fooled around this morning (no penetration) and the same thing happened about 20 min after orgasm i lightly spotted again.  I am confused as my period just ended and am wondering if this could be just the last of my period, or if there is a problem.  I have no pain or discomfort at all, just very light pink spotting after orgasm.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I do have to say that with all of the garbage birth control brings, Its annoying.  It took me three different types to find one that worked, and I've only had minimal problems with this last one....But its like..."Whats more important....Condom or no condom.....BC pills screwed me all up...I still use them though...

I know how you feel if one thing out of the ordinary happends to my body i start to worry.  I know BC pills are to prevent preg, but i had so much trouble on them, that is why i had my tubes tied after i had my third daughter, (Wish i didn't now) but it sounded like my only option at the time.  I hope eveything works itself out.

thank you for replying.  I never really had anything like this happen before.  Like I said Im usually as regular as regular can get.  I have only been on BC pills since January, and I have had a few strange things happen.  I guess it just throws up a red flag when something out of the ordinary happens.  Thanks, I'll monitor it for a few days....I called my doctor and of course they said BC pills do things like that, and It's normal....

Thanks again for the response...

This may sound strange but my sister had the same thing happen to her.  The dr told her it was a hormone thing and that it wasnt anything to be concerned about but just to make sure i would go see your dr.  i would hate for you to think that it was the same as my sister and it be something else.  I still don't think you have anything to worry about.  Hope everything gets better for you.
