spotting brown blood for 6 days - what is this?

I am 15 days past ovulation (according to my temps).  I thought I'd have a period by now, but I've just been having light spotting for 6 days (brown blood).  Will this lead into a bright red blood period?  Or will I totally skip a having red blood period?  I took 2 preg. test and they were negative.
Has anyone had this???

Hi,
I had this same thing with both pregnancies/ Both had a negative pregnancy result days after my missed period . My first , spotted for a couple days . Everything was fine. The second , I spotted for two weeks . I was low in progesterone . Gave me some pills and it stopped . Totally healthy full term baby.
Low progesterone is the main reason for miscarriage so go see your doctor and get checked . Probably nothing based on your age . I was 34 . Typically happens in mid 30's but can happen earlier.

Hi,  Can I ask the outcome of this? Were you pregnant? I am experiencing the same at the moment.
