spotting during ovulation

Hi, I am 41 years old and have had changes during my ovulation and have also had increased discharge (sometimes smelly), I also have been spotting (light) during my ovulation. I do not notice the normal stretchy clear discharge during my ovulation as well. I still want to have another baby and am currently trying.
Could all of this be due to an early change of life, meaning I can't get pregnant or could it be due to tumors?
