spotting

Can spotting two weeks before next period delay your start date of your next period or change when the start date????

Welp took test and its a negative OK so where's my period? Will retest in a few days

From what I know, spotting two weeks ahead of time is often implantation bleeding for pregnancy. I advise that you test.
