stabbing pain when urinating

I had sex yesterday afternoon and when i peed afterwards it really burned and the inner lips became pretty swollen. I took a bath and they stopped hurting significantly but where still swollen. The swelling went down over the next few hours and i didnt notice anything wrong until this morning. When i woke up to pee, it felt as though i had sharp knives stabbing the inner lips of my vagina while i urinated. It was very painful urinating and wiping but i don't notice it afterwards, only when i touch it. What's going on? Please help.

I have also experienced this myself very recently, however I have checked and it all looks normal but it still hurts anytime it is touched. Does this mean that I could possibly share jj47544's problem?

It sounds like maybe some hair got in the way and slightly cut into your flesh. This would cause the burning feeling when you peed.
Wait a few days, and if it doesn't go away then please see your doctor as it might be something else.
Just a thought...did you use a condom? If so have you used one before? I for one can't use them as I get burning pains and infections from them...allergies...ugh.
It's also possible that he used a new soap etc...several things could cause this...another is a yeast infection...if it starts to itch and you get cottage cheese type discharge then it is probably a yeast infection.
Hope this helps.
