stomach pain during sex(long time)

I sometimes get a pain in my lower abdomen during sex its on one side,my left.I've been experiancing this for many years and have had two children so i always assumed if there was anything wrong it would have been detected a while ago?i dont get it every time which is the weird thing and its not when im due on or anything so i dont know what it could be,i've never had an std i've never even had thrush,i get quite heavy periods since i had my last child two years ago x

it could just be a muscle spasm, esp if you have an orgasm. I used to get that once in a while. Next time you're at the gyn. ask them to check you for fibroids (benign tumors caused by hormones) or cysts on your ovaries (also benign).

hi i get sharp paint too on my left side on my stomach and its so painful but i havnt been doctore for it any advice please on what could be wrong and do you think i should go doctors for it . thanks x
