swollen vagina lips

Okay so last night my vagina just started to itch like crazy for only like 15 minutes or so, which I thought was very strange, and then it started to feel very uncomfortable so being curious I looked at it with a hand mirror and the lips were VERY swollen and pretty red. I haven't had sex for around 3 weeks and I will admit that we did have sex without a condom but if he had an STD wouldn't I see earlier signs and wouldn't he have them too? Well my vagina was dry-ish, doesn't smell, and has no weird discharge so I don't think I have an STD because I've been looking up STD signs like crazy trying to figure this out. I woke up this morning and my vagina still hurts from the itching but one of the lips has gone back to normal and the other is still a little swollen and hurts but it doesn't itch at all. I'm really worried about this and I would like some advice on what to do. I will be seeing a doctor Monday but I'm really worried and would like some advice please, this is scaring me.

Maybe it's an allergic reaction to something.  Have you recently changed soaps, lotion, detergent, shaving cream, etc...anything that might come in contact with that area?

Not that I know of, I washed with dove soap down there the other day, I don't remember if it was yesterday or the day before and maybe I didn't get all the soup out of there? I dunno.

doesnt sound like an STD but im not sure.. to me it sounds like an allergic reaction, an irritation to something or a yeast infection

when you scratch it to relieve the itch you may cause irritation that will cause the lips to become swollen..the itching could be from a yeast infection..
