One day treatments for yeast will not work most of the time. It actually sounds like you may have vaginitis. I would go to the doctor and get things looked at. Are you sure it's your period? Are you due for it? Just assuming it's your period because you are bleeding isn't good enough.
The one day treatments don't stick around long enough to do any good. Also, the amount of chemical in them is pretty harsh on vaginal/vulvar skin. It's an easy way to end up having an alergic (allergic) reaction. Stick with the 7 day treatments.
If your symptoms don't start to ease soon, see a doc. To temporarily ease the pain, you can apply an ice pack for 15 or so minutes or a frozen bag of peas.
