tampon stuck

ok so i went to sleep last night with a tampon in and the string never goes in i mean never!!!! the tampons in and the entire string is left  out. but when i woke up this morning it was gone!!! i can't find it! i only went to bed last night with one in because it was the first day of my period and i couldn't find a pad..(so what am i gonna do go to bed and get my bed all bloody?) i'm still bleeding... does that mean its stuck or is it out and i don't know it? and i should go to a ob/gyn? (never been to one i must admit i'm only 18). someone please help!!!

Are you sure its not in there? When I was about 15, I had no pads or tampons so I rolled up some tp. I forgot I had used the tp because there was no string. I bled through it so there was another reason I didnt think I had anything in there. about 5 or 6 months later I stuck a finger in a felt it. It was way in there but I managed to get it out. I never went to the doctor or anything but my paps are all good. Never got any infection.

Thats just my story, you can get really sick and go in to shock if its left in too long. Thats why they say to change it every 6 hours. See if you really cant find it, and i not (maybe also) go to the doctor. It also could have been you took it out in the middle of the night sleep walking or you just dont remember. I have done that before (good thing the flow wasnt heavy)

well i dunno if its there or not but i started getting sick on friday cold,sneezing constantly and minor headache esspeccially when standing and now it feels like somethings down there a lil uncomptable(like i have to pee but it hurts i dunno) but i'm not exactly sure.. because i thought i found it but i didnt see it come out as gross as that may sound. what do you think?

and i never get  sick!!!! maybe once a year but not when it comes on suddenly.

You need to see a doctor.  If there is a chance the tampon is still stuck there, then you can get a serious bacterial infection (which may have already started).

You can also get something called Toxic Shock Syndrome from left in tampons that can be fatal.

Go and see a doctor, now.
