Hi! Don't be embarassed! Everyone has slight differences in their anatomy. First, read the directions carefully that came with the tampons. As it says, aim the tip toward your back, not straight up or you hit the vaginal wall. I found it easiest to do it while slightly squatting, but you can try with a foot up on the side of the tub or something else. If you are trying to feel where it should go, you would curve your finger up. You shouldn't hit anything hard until the upper part of the vagina where the cervix is. If you hit that, it feels like cartilage (like your nose sort of). If you cannot curve your finger up very far in, your hymen may still be intact and you can have it checked out by a doctor. Generally, hymens are thin enough to be broken by a tampon, but yours could be thicker. Once the tampon is in correctly, you should not really be able to feel it. Only the muscles toward the bottom of the vagina have much feeling. I don't know if this helps much. Good luck.
well i have used a tampon, but when i put it on i didn't have a hard time and it went all in, like it is suppose to be. when i had it on it kind of hurted but it stoped once i got used to the feeling.
