thickened endometrial stripe after balloon ablation

by jen12345, Sep 22, 2009 05:39PM
I just had surgery on the 2nd of this month and on the 14th I went to the hospital and got an ultra sound done because of pain. I had a balloon ablation, d And c, laprascopy. The ultrasound results are My uterus measures 10.6 x 4.1cm with a thickened endometrial strip measuring 1.7 cm. there is minor fuid in the endometrial canal. There is a 2.5 cm simple cyst in the left with a trace of fluid in the right adnexal region.

What does this all mean? Please
I still have fluid coming out. It's not as bad as before but it's been 20 days since surgery. I was told I would spot for a few days but the first 14 days It was really bad like every hour changing pads.

Is it normal to have a thickened endometrial after a balloon ablation. I'm confused becasuse i thought it got rid of the lining.
