I have been on the pill for years, and my husband and I still use a back up. We just want to be extraExtra strength mylanta calci tabs Extra strength pain relief careful because we dont want children at this time. Please use caution. you should have received a packet with your pills explaining how to use them. If should state somewhere in there about how long it takes to start working. Please be safe!!! Best of luck!!
If you started taking the pill on the first day of your period, you're protected from the start. If you started on the first Sunday after your period, you're protected after a week. If you started at any other time, you're protected after a month. They usually recommend waiting a month, though, because it takes a while to get used to remembering to take your pill at the same time every day.
