not all womenWomen's way know exactly how the body works and when the time is right to become pg. there is a short window that allows you to become pg and that is when you ovulate. typically it happens 14 days prior to your period. i say prior instead of 14 days after because most women dont have a typical 28 day cycle. there are several things your body does to tell you it is about to happen. you can go by your temps. its too much for me to tell you so you can get a book or google bbt. basal body temp. you can use ovulation predictor kits to see when it does happen. you can go by your cervical mucus. there are different types of mucus and it goes with your time of being fertile and non-fertile. the more you know the better your odds, maybe. i researched so much so i knew, but i already knew from ovulation pain about when it happened. there are women unfortunatly here that have been trying for many months, even years without luck. there is so much info on the computer you can learn so much. now after reading this novel you can ask more specific questions if you have more. lol
its much more complicated than feeling warm. you will have to read about it on the computer or a book, and im not an expert on this. some women dont ovulate every month, and perhaps you arent at all. have you brought this up to your dr?
Thank you for ur reply pertykitty...I have tried the ovulation predictor but it has been showing that I am not ovulating for the past few months. But ,I do feel very hot that is my temperature rises every month for approximately two-three days. I feel very warm from inside and try to shower more than I normally do but in vain. Is this rise in temperature the time I am ovulating?
Are you having regular periods? I don't ovulate, and unless I take progestrone or bcp, I don't have a period. I have had this problem for about 3 years. This time I went 6 months without one, but just recently, I did have the first one on my own in all of that time. But before, my breasts were really sore, I started having cramps like 3-4 weeks prior, I had a dull ache for like 2 weeks on the left side, etc. Those are just some of the things that might indicate ovulation. However, for normal people, it doesn't last as long as it did for me. You should read about the changes in cervical mucus that occur throughout the cycle. This can be helpful.
