trying to get pregnant

by precious23, Jun 13, 2007 12:00AM
I am 23 years of age and I have contracted chamydia, ghonerea, BV, and HPV. I was very young when i began having sex and I blame my age for the mistakes I have made contracting std's.  I am recently engaged and plan on marrying in 2008. My partner knows of the HPV and he accepts me, he to has contracted HPV he is very set on having a baby, my concern is I have never been pregnant even in the year and half we have been together could it be possible that there is no hope of me ever carring his child or becoming pregnant?

A friend of mine has HPV also and her GYN told her it wouldn't interfere with her having a baby.  You should go see your Dr. and talk with him about it just to be safe.  Also, make sure you start taking prenatals at least 3 months before you start ttc.
Good luck!
