uncontrollable labia itch

uncontrollable labia itch I think this is the correct term. I have been tested several times since November and I do not have an Std, Uti, or yeast infection. once evrery 3 or 4 weeks for about 5-10 days I get an uncontrollable itch on the outside of my vagina lips, and the inside. It feels like I am pouring acid on them when I pee and I want to cut them off!  I am almost 40 and had a complete hysterectomy at 26.

Maybe your hormones are out of wack! My mom started to have extreme itching a year after she was on menopause. Are you taking medication for hormone replacement since you had a hysterectomy?
Oh and if that's not it, have your dr take a culture of the actual places it itches, because I had bad itching the dr tested the discharge from my cervix found nothing... Three days later I saw the darn yeast, it was only on the out side on the vaginal lips!
But def ask about your hormonal balance, maybe they need to change the pills, if that's what it is.

Hi

Crazy as this sounds you can use a 'natural' treatment for this problem which works a treat and is very inexpensive.

Sounds suspiciously like a nice dose of  good old 'thrush'.  Grab a tampon, dip it in 'all natural, unprocessed' yoghurt and insert for 35 mins, you will be surprised and amazed at how effective this is.

Advice originally given from naturopath.

Cheers,
