unusual discharge

Hello I'am 21 year's old and I have a question within the course of the end of last month my partner and I had intercourse unprotected the very next day I was doing some things then I felt this warm rush I went to the bathroom to see what I was I looked down and saw a thick white string of discharged hanging from under me it was very unusual to me but it had no smell to it what could it mean? Another question I have is I had gotten my period the fifth of last month and the end of the course of the month which was the 23rd as I mentioned in the first question I did have intercourse on that date unprotected that day I haven't gotten my period could I be late I mean my period is very irregular so it hard to keep track of it I was late I got my period around 14 year's old also could me having a baby have effect on my period as well my daughter is five in a half month's now.

Symptoms of pregnancy don't start right away.  They begin around week 6 to 7 of pregnancy.  good luck

Okay I will do so right away but I haven't experienced any changes in my body lately no cravings for foods not feeling the need to go to the bathroom all the time no morning sickness but I have noticed that I will stay up all night up until the morning and just sleep all day.

Hi there.  Well, unless you are trying to get pregnant, having unprotected sex is not wise.  You have to be responsible when having sex.  Having a child 5 years ago would not affect your period now.  If you are late and have had unprotected sex, then you need to take a pregnancy test.  The discharge issue sounds like a non issue.  That happens from time to time.  The released sperm mixed with vaginal secretions and came out in a thicker way than usual most likely.  But trust me, there are still plenty of sperm to result in pregnancy left over.  take a test.  good luck
