I'm sorry for jumping in here. I posted for the first time last night but I have lurked a few times. I have followed your posts and wanted to mention something that I haven't seen so far...

It's my understanding that pregnancy can actually increase cancer cells. So if you have pre-cancer, early cancer or more advanced cancer...pregnancy can be dangerous. I have a friend that died because she found her cancer after she found out she was pregnant and didn't want to end her pregnancy. She waited it out and unfortunately the cancer spread and ended up taking her life.

This is just one more reason you should wait to get pregnant. Take care of your body, enjoy the time in your relationship without a child and when you are physically and financially ready, discuss pregnancy, put some money away and start taking care of your health BEFORE you conceive. It's always a good idea to start taking pre-natal vitamins a few months before conception.

Take care!

soooooooo you havent been given a positive for a pg test? not even a home test? why? you dont have the money? EXACTLY why you should wait. dear you need to heal first. get yourself taken care of and if having a little "puppy" to keep you comfortable while at home, then get one. you need to get to school or a job or something. being bored at 18 or whatever age you said is loads better than a crying baby at all hours of the night when you really just want company. sorry im blunt, but that is how you make it sound. a mature realistic woman would heal, get some education ( you dont know you can depend on that boy) and then see about marriage, career and THEN children. sure some do just fine, but usually they have a degree or a person with a great imcome to fall back on. good luck

great that you caught the dysplasia early enough to treat it!

Hope things work out for you.

Maybe I am reading this wrong.  Are you saying you WANT to be pregnant at the same time you are undergoing a procedure for cervical cancer?

Best wishes for your doctor's appointment on Tuesday,  and prayers that you are not pregnant,  so that you can deal with your cancer and get well before attempting a pregnancy.

The frequent urination sounds like a bladder infection.  Your doc will probably test for that,  and give you a round of antibiotics.  In the future,  you can take cranberry tablets (two a day,  they're really cheap) and that will prevent further bladder infections,  if you're prone to them.

Prayers for your recovery.  I hope you post back,  because I'm very curious about your treatment,  and whether you actually have full-blown cancer,  or simply pre-cancer (called dysplasia) or have the virus that often causes cervical cancer (called HPV).

Best wishes,  and prayers.
