I was told I had POS which is the main reason for infertility now days. I wanted to have another child sooo bad I was going crazy in Jan of 03 I talked to my Ob-Gyn and we decided to try a round of clomid in Jan with my period in combination with another drug to bring on my period if my test came back negative in Feb.  So I took my first round starting on the thrid day of my cycle and finished the prescribed amount I did not have a period in Feb so I took the other drug nothing happened no period and no postive hpt the same for Mar. but remember I took only one round of Clomid. In April I decided to go back on BC because nothing was happening, no period, no positive hpt my Dr told me to take one last test before she gave me the BC so I did and I was REALLY POSITIVE!!! Iwent to the Dr the same week and she did an ultrasound I found out Iwas 13 1/2weeks already I got pregnant on the FIRST ROUND so it always does not take a bunch of tries. Ask your Dr when you should do your first round of Clomid and follow it to the tee also ask when should you have sex after your Clomid cycle because that is how it worked for me also it put a little spice in that department make it fun for the both of you DO NOT GO INTO with the IDEA you have to only do it to get pregnant DO IT TO HAVE FUN then you never know it should just WORK!! GOOD LUCK !!

I had to use clomid to make me ovulate, without it I wouldn't ovulate at all. It took 3 cycles but I am pregnant. I am due Jan 4, 2007. I took the lowest dose that my dr will prescribe, 50mg daily for 5 days (cycle day 2 through 6). Hope it works for you.

Take Care
