vag bleeding 16yrs post hysterectomy

I am 54, had a hysterectomy in 97 then the last tube and ovary out in 2000. I had an MI in Oct 2012 with a lengthy stent put in my distal LAD. I am to be on aspirian 325mg and plavix 75mg for 2 years. Since then I have what must be vaginal bleeding. It was thought to be urinary but saw a urologist and their is not blood with a cath urine. He checked in my bladder and not tumors or bleeding. My bladder is somewhat tilted though. I have a bladder sling. I saw my gyn prior and didn't note obvious blood though is in the urine and spotting on my undergarment. He did a repeat pap and was unchanged. The bleeding is not everyday but most days, My back has been hurting quite a bit greater on the right side and some right side pelvic discomfort. I am going back today to the gyn to see if something can be determined. I had an abd CT showing nothing but my family doctor said adhesions wouldn't show there. Could it be adhesions or possibly just from being on ASA and Plavix.

I really think it could be a variety of things. I have dysplasia as well however I think my HPV is dormant because it keeps coming back negative for HPV. I was bleeding until they did the biopsy and removed the lesions.

I bled for a week after the second biopsy just recently.

As for the stool, it really could be scar tissue. The problem with that is that there is no way to see scar tissue unless you go in.

What has your gyno said about this?

I am really sorry you are going through this it really is not right and in the end you get warn out trying to find out what is going on.

I had the hysterectomy for a large 16wk size distorted fibroid, at that time they removed my left tube and ovary appeared to be endometriosis but biopsy showed hemorrhagic cyst scarring. In 2000 I had the other ovary and tube removed due to large painful cyst. In 2000 I had a vaginal pap showing dysplasia I had that lasered and since x 1 had an excision of a dysplastic lesion. I saw my gyn Tuesday and repeated the pap again. I continue to have the HPV of course. I have hx of some cardiac issues and I don't think he wants to do a scope to see what's going on. I do notice I have more bleeding I think in relation to bowel movements.

Adhesions can cause serious pain but vaginal bleeding I am not so sure and you are right they will not show on any scan you get.

I have Endo with Adhesions and I had rectal bleeding but the adhesions were on my bladder, bowels and ureters. I could feel a lump under my 3cm scar and it was causing a bowel obstruction.

I am wondering if it some sort of organ prolapes but since you said the CT showed nothing maybe it isnt?

So to be clear you have everything removed even your cervix right? However he did a pap, a pap on what?

Did you ever have Endometriosis or Fibroids? What was the hyster for? This information might help me help you :)
