vagina ithcy and soar

Ok I am very embarrassed to go too a doctor about this, I'm a 32yr old female. I never had a sexual partner, though I do masturbate. It started by taking Monastat cream, for I thought I had yeast infection, but I took an allergic reaction to the cream and I broke out in open soars in the inside of my vagina. Tests came back as Herpes, but I don't understand how I got Herpes considering I never done it with anyone, besides myself. So when the soars went away, I went back to the Docs and got examined and he said severe yeast infection, so he subscribed 'canesten' the pill. take one pill for one week, and then take another one the next week. Well I don't have the discharge, but I'm still as itchy as hell in between the lips. Its red, and there are some bumps, and I'm getting some sticky like dead skin from the sides. I know I shouldn't but I do scratch for I can't stand it. Could it be, I scratched myself to hard, and I scarred myself down there, and its itchy because its trying to heal, and the white icky stuff is dead skin?? Or maybe pinworms?? any suggestions, this is driving me nuts and its been over a month.

hey.. im actually having the same problem.. I thought mine was a yeast infection too, so i treaded it as if it was one... I have been very itchy too on the outside lips that i scratched it till it hurt. When you look at it do you have any bumps on it? Mine doesnt.. also do you shave? I was thinking about going and picking up diaper rash cream bc i heard it works... that or get some tea tree drops.
