vaginal dryness

I am 39 years old. In the last two years I have experienced vaginal dryness to the point that my sexual desire is almost null and void. My doctor's state that I am not perimenopause becasue I still have a menustral cycle. However, during sexual intercourse, the outside of my vagina does not swell although my mind states that I am aroused. Penetration is painful and my vaginal skin seems so fragile that I think it will rip from the dryness.

Use a silicon based lubricant...
they are slightly more expensive but so much better than KY or other water based ones :/

I think you should see your OB/Gyne.  I think it has something to do with your hormones.  When you have sex, let your partner lick you first...that way your clit can get wet with his saliva.  then during penetration, you may use KY jelly
