vaginal tearing may be infected??

hello. im new at this so bear with me. i have recently had a new sex partner who is large. the first time we had sex, he tore the skin in my vagina. after that, we have been having sex and everything has been ok. the other day, we were having sex and it didnt hurt, but the next day, my vagina began to itch. i became concern because i have a cold sore on my lip and i was really scared that i may have gotten something. im pretty sure its not because it itches, but there are no bumps or anything, but i can feel a slight burn from the tear. i think it might be infected, but i have no time to go to the doctors...what are some home remedies i could use to kil teh infection or at least stop the itching. also, i think its a little swollen, but again, i dont have time to go to the doctor and the next available day for me to go isnt for 3 days. thank you!

Normally tears in the vagina will heal on there own but they will itch while healing. I am not sure if you can use vagisil on it if the tear is still open. You can call and ask your doctors office.
