vaginismus due to spinal nerve compression?

I cant seem to find a definite answer to this on the internet. Does anyone know if vaginismus (I believe it would be called secondary vaginismus) could be caused by a progressive lower spine injury? My thinking is that it would be possible that compression of spinal nerves in lumbar (lower back) area could be a cause for the involuntary muscle contraction causing the vaginismus. Does anyone out there know or even been diagnosed with this as a cause?
