very nervous, please help?!
I am a 19 year old female and I noticed a lump in my left inguinal region about a year ago.  It causes no pain, however it seems to be slowly getting larger.  I noticed recently that my lymph glands around the lump are swollen to the point that I can feel the ttexture of the lymph glands through my skin.  Again, there is no pain with the lump. The only pain I have experienced has been an achy/uncomfortable feeling in my left inguinal area.  This pain usually only occurs if I press on the lump rather firmly and try to move it around.   I dont understand what this lump could be since it has been there for some time and causes no pain.

I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or opinions regarding this lump.  Thank you.

Maybe a lipoma? Those a fat tumors, though generally harmless.
