very sore breasts for 3 wks

After my time of the month, my breasts started getting very sore.  Not the usual PMS symptoms like the week before of getting sore and resolving the week after.  It's been 3 wks. now and the whole time I can't even touch my boobs without them hurting, much less them sitting there on there own.  I have taken 2 preg tests and both were neg.  I was also doing the ovulation kits because my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant (for 2 1/2 yrs now).    However, that only said I was not ovulating.  Through it all, all I have are these really sore boobs now and was wondering if there were any other reasons besides pregnancy that you's are aware of.

First of all, I'm sorry noone has responded to you.  I do not understand why this is.  To help with both your questions: You said you were using ovulation kits?  Are you also taking your temp. every morning?  Ovulation kits are not the sure way to see if you are ovulating, just a helper.  Sometimes you will need to do 2-3 ovulator strips a day to catch a surge.  So if you aren't already, start taking your Basil Body Temperature.  There are a few sites online that help doing your charts, www.ovusoft.com and fertilityfriend.com.

As to your sore bbs. There can be so many factors.  Pregnancy, ovulation, Menst., or in my case half the time, in my head because I'm always poking to see if sore!!!!  Also, you could be sleeping on your stomach and it is hurting them.

I hope this is helpful to you.  I wish I had more to tell you.  Good luck ttc.

I really need help ASAP!!!! I almost seem to feel like I"m losing my mind.  I have not any increase in caffiene or stress (at least not until after I found out I was not ovulating). I'm 26 yrs old and that's why I'm looking for help.  I work in the medical field where you can help just about everyone else but yourself.  That's why I need help!
