I am a male and have those same sensations.  Off and on, lower quadrants.  Almost like a little vibrator inside.  No pain, no association with bowel or bladder.  Not painful, but noticeable.

I get the same thing. I was trying to figure it out last week. I will be 22 weeks on Sunday...last week I was trying to figure out if it was the baby or a muscle twitch. I couldn't tell. It must be normal though, if others are having the same thing. Probably just muscles. I got mine on the lower left part of my belly, almost by my pelvic bone.

I wonder if it's maybe your muscles twitching? Are you in pain at all?
I'm sorry I couldn't help more. Maybe somebody else here can help a little more. I hope everything turns out to be fine. I'm sure it will be though!
