vulva biopsy

i had a vulva biopsy 3 days ago, the Dr. told me not to have sex in a couple days a haven't but i thing i should wait longer than that right? also i dont know if this is normal but today on the 3rd day when i was about to shower i checked it out with a mirror and saw the small little hole the ring was a little red and the middle was white i dunno if its infected! their is no funky smell or discharge but it does hurt a bit not to the point where i cant move or anything but since i couldnt find anything on line and it's a weekend i wanted to know if this was something to worry about?
